Wake up, go to work, go home, sleep. After finding himself swept up in the brutal 9-to-5-and-overtime cycle, a cat residing in a human suit must decide if he’s truly enjoying what life has to offer.

If you’re only working every waking hour of your life, where does that leave you? This thought became the foundation for my thesis film, which follows a cat living in a human suit, stuck in the endless cycle of an office job: waking up, working, coming home to sleep, and repeating the same routine. At first, the cat takes joy in the job, but over time, the monotony wears him down, stripping away the happiness he once felt. This story is my response to the idea that we shouldn’t sacrifice what makes us happy—what makes us us—just to make a living.
